About St Georges

St Georges is a Hockley-based charity which straddles the voluntary, statutory and faith sectors. Over the past twelve years the Centre has delivered high quality youth and community work to the people of Aston and Newtown. We look upon ourselves as both a community anchor - inspiring and resourcing local and regional users to realise their full potential – and community hub – we house many smaller organisations, real and virtual, involved in the business of encouraging and sustaining hope in Birmingham’s urban environment.

The Centre’s mission statement is ‘To advance urban regeneration and community development by the provision of education and training in a spiritual context.’
